# SlopSift privacy

SlopSift processes text locally.

- The CLI and VS Code extension include the parser weights and do not upload documents for normal linting.
- The browser downloads static model and runtime files, then runs inference on-device.
- The browser editor does not upload the text being edited.
- SlopSift has no account system and no document-storage service.
- GitHub issue reports are public. Only submit text you have permission to share.
